A restless sneasel

It was in the middle of the night. The ice type was just in be, supposedly sleeping, but he kept on turning about in his sleep and soon woke up. He sat down and sighed a bit to himself. "Just... Great... Can't sleep once again..." Night stood up and looked at the hallway through the exit of his room. Is anyone even awake other than himself? It is around midnight... Not even the hyper and childish zorua, Giran, would be awake at this late hour. He sighed once again as he went to the hallway for a while just to check.

(Kinda want to roleplay very much ^^)

Like the Sneasel, Alex had been unable to sleep. Moments before Night had left his room, Alex had as well. As a matter of fact, Night would see the Riolu's legs for a moment before they disappeared up the ladder.

That caught the attention of the sneasel. "...Huh? Isn't that..." he though for a while on what he saw and tried to follow where Alex was going to. He removed his brown scarf for now, leaving the red one around his neck still as he went of to where ever the riolu went to. I wonder where is he going to? the ice type thought to himself.

As he follows the Fighting-type, the Sneasel would eventually find himself at Spinda's Cafe, Alex nursing a hot chocolate in a booth.

He hesitated a bit, but soon spoke. "... Alex? What are you doing?" Night asked the riolu. It's been like what, 1 or 2 days since he first met the riolu? The fighting-type seemed to be good company, but it's really something that he coincidentally couldn't sleep and found Alex kind of in the same state.

"Oh, hey Night." Alex yawns, taking a sip of the cocoa. "I'm really not doing much. Just can't sleep, I guess. Weird, huh?" He shrugs, taking another sip.

"Mm, you too?" he decided to sit down near the riolu and as most pokemons may say, he caught the yawn and yawned too. "I woke up from a... Crazy dream... Er... You...?" Night lazily turned to the riolu. Well, there aren't much to talk about when you can't sleep yet is still sleepy, huh?

"I wish I was in your shoes. Haven't slept a wink all night." He groans quietly, rubbing his eyes. "Much as I'd like to say otherwise...."

Night was surprised a bit. Not a wink of sleep, huh? That's really hard for himself as he got used to sleeping everyday, the exceptions are nights like right now. "That's... Difficult, I guess... I would never be able to stand that long without a bit of sleep..." he trailed off for a bit and thought for  while. "Why did you go here of all places?" he asked him.

(I'm kinda part of this as I'm not sleeping either and it's already 2:26 AM over here ^^")

"Simple. Delicious hot chocolate. Seriously, you NEED to have some of this stuff." He chuckles, tail wagging just a little. "It's soooooo gooooood.."

"? Okay then..." taking up on Alex's suggestion, he asked for/took a cup of some hot chocolate, but his first reactions was "Hot, hot hot!" the ice type quickly set down the cup on the table and let it cool just enough for him to be able to touch it without getting burned and letting it spill. Night took a sip and took a while to just let the taste settle in his mouth for a bit. "Mmm... Yeah, it is good I guess... Never had chocolate before actually..." he told the riolu.

Alex couldn't help but snicker at Night's pain. "It's called hot chocolate for a reason, y'know. And I told you it was good!"

Night just sweat drop a bit and just small chuckles. "Heheh... Riight..." he replied in a way. The sneasel looked away for a while, his attention on the exit of the cafe. ... Now that I think about it... Isn't this place another one of her favorite places? So there's the beach... This cafe... he silently thought to himself.

Alex tilts his head curiously, blinking twice. "Something on your mind Night?" He thanked a Spinda who brought him another mug of hot cocoa.

The sneasel was quiet for a while... "... Um... Do you know how long a Black Gummi shake lasts until it starts to taste different or something...?" he asked both Spinda and Alex.

"No clue." "5 hours if you keep it cold, half an hour if you don't." The Spinda smiled and walked away, leaving the two males at their booth.

"O-oh... Thanks..." the sneasel just smiled a tiny bit before looking down at the table, seemingly a bit lost in thought still. He then turned to Alex. "Oh, right, what did you say, Alex...?" he asked the fighting type.

Alex shrugged sipping his warm drink. "I asked if something was bothering you. So...is something bothering you?"

"Ah... I just..." he looked away for a while and turns back to Alex. "... Keep this a secret for now... Okay?" he asked him before hesitating a bit. "Well... Do you know Kyrie Ladarkus...? Well... I have a... Crush on her... She's the reason why I joined the guild, actually..." Night told the riolu.

(Oh yeah, when Kyrie left Giran to Alex when she went into town, I imagine that's when Night saw Kyrie)

Alex chuckles, gulping down the rest of his drink. "I know. It was kind of obvious, honestly."

Night was a bit surprised there. "Really? It was obvious?" he said, but soon spoke once again. "Well... The reason why I asked about the Black Gummi Shake was that it's one of Kyrie's favorite... Her only favorite drink actually... I know can just keep it cool, but that's only when I have an ice move... And I can't keep it for just half an hour..." he sighed a bit and just continued drinking his hot chocolate.

"Can't help you there, pal. Wish I could say otherwise, but I can't." He shrugs, yawning. "I'm starting to feel tired...I might head back soon."

The sneasel just thought about it for a while and just accepted it. "Okay then... You go on first, I'll just finish this..." Night said, stating that his drink was still not finished. Now that I think about it... She is a really early pidgey... he continued to think to himself.

"Alright. See you later, Night. Oh, and good luck with Kyrie." He waves, heading out of the cafe.

Kyrie was slowly waking up back at the guild. She had got used to waking up this early to help her mother babysit her little brother, but since they're back at Apple Woods, she just uses the time to watch the sun rise into the sky, admiring the pretty colors the morning sky would show when it does. This was also the time when Night was going back to the guild. He kept himself awake somehow and still bought a Black gummi shake for the zorua. It seems like the sneasel knew too much about Kyrie...

"Huh? Night? Why were you outside? It's still technically late for you guys, though I usually wake up this early anyways." the zorua asked the ice type and he showed her the drink he was holding. "Since I kinda woke up really early, I kinda found my way to the cafe and remembered you love Black Gummi Shakes. It's for you, if you didn't realize it." he explained and the dark fox happily accepted the drink and opened one of the windows of the guild to wait for the sunrise while still drinking. ... Well, she clearly enjoys it... And that's a good thing... Night thought to himself, though he stared at the zorua, blushing a bit. ... Even if she might have just woken up, she's still... Pretty... Her fur isn't so messy and she isn't cranky or anything...
